We are looking for hard-working and reliable animal lovers, who live close by, to join our team in Ashburn. Experience in bathing dogs is a plus, but not required. We are willing train the right individual. Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 AM - 1 PM. This is a year-round position!
Responsibilities and Duties:
The bather will greet and receive the pets, communicate with groomers, receptionists, and managers, and lift, bathe, brush, and dry dogs and cats while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude and appearance.
Bathing & drying dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Clipping nails. Cleaning the bathing rooms and kennels at the end of the day.
Preparing pets for the groomer by shampooing, bathing, brushing, and drying.
Complete bathing dogs by brushing, combing, and de-shedding (with 3 different tools), plucking ears, cleaning ears, clipping nails, and trimming pads if necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience bathing dogs is a plus, but not required.
